Purpose
The Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) Global Health Initiative aims to develop knowledge and tools for addressing threats to Australia's national health security from regional and global challenges.
Overview
The objective of this grant opportunity is to provide grants of financial assistance to support medical research and medical innovation projects that, through co-design with consumers and health services, develop scalable and sustainable interventions to mitigate the impact of climate change on Australians' mental health.
The intended outcome of the research is to improve the health and wellbeing of Australians by addressing the mental health impacts of climate change.
Applicants to this grant opportunity must propose to conduct researchthat delivers against the above objective and those of the Global Health Initiative. Applicants are encouraged to propose novel and/or innovative research and describe how the outcomes of the research will be translated into health benefits for Australians.
This grant opportunity is being administered by NHMRC on behalf of the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care.
Limitations
