These awards provide the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the commitment and contribution of community groups that help make a difference to the lives of our residents and local community.

Eligibility

To be eligible, a community group or organisation must be not-for-profit and operate in the City of Glen Eira. They can be nominated for their usual activities or for a special project they have implemented or completed.

Key selection criteria

A community group or community organisation that is nominated must: 

• have made a significant contribution to the Glen Eira community in 2023 and/or over a number of years; 
• demonstrate that it meets a community need or priority; and 
• demonstrate that it provides exceptional service to the local community
