Swan Proactive Grants encourage the delivery of innovative community led projects activities and or initiatives targeting community identified strategic Focus Areas; to ultimately enhance the lives of residents, visitors, and the wider City of Swan community.

The Focus Areas selected for each quarter will be identified through the City’s Local Area Planning processes and this will be updated and published accordingly.

Proactive Grants opportunities up to $25,000 are available. With the understanding that capital items are included through contributions under this stream.

Funding available

• Level 1 - up to $500
• Level 2 - $500 - $1500
• Level 3 - $1500 - $5000
• Level 4 - $5000 - $25,000

Funding rounds close quarterly at the end of January, April, July and October.  Please plan your application in advance of your project commencing and submit accordingly.

We ask that you please get in touch with the City of Swan’s Community Grants Team and your local Community Development Officer to discuss your proposed project, event or initiative. The teams will be able to assist you with reaching eligibility and guide you on submitting your best possible application.
