The Ready Now Grants program provides small allocations of funds for beneficial projects and activities supporting community inclusion, participation and providing equipment, facilities and public spaces that are appropriate for community use.

Under the Ready Now Grants program, grants of up to $500 are available to eligible community groups to support small-scale activities and projects which benefit Corangamite Shire communities.

This program replaces the Quick Response Grants program.

Eligibility:

Eligible applicants include, but are not limited to:

• ncorporated community associations;
• Cultural and recreational organisations;
• Environmental organisations;
• Health and Welfare organisations;
• Religious or charitable groups (provided that projects or activities and their outcomes are open to the participation of all);
• Committees of Management; 
• Local volunteer emergency service brigades/branches; 
• Community House based volunteer groups/projects or activities;
• Service Clubs;
• Information Service Providers, including Visitor Information Services;
• Youth, self-support or special interest groups; and
• Other community-based groups deemed eligible by Council from time to time.
