Purpose

FRRR and the Vincent Fairfax Family Foundation (VFFF) have partnered to deliver Backing the Future. It's an exciting program that supports innovative ideas benefitting young people in Queensland and New South Wales.

Overview

Backing the Future provides one-off, $50,000 grants to support individuals in developing, testing and accelerating projects that benefit young people aged 12-30 in QLD and NSW. Projects should align with one of the four key program areas of helping young people to:

  • Access decent work;
  • Care for the environment;
  • Contribute to society; or
  • Explore Christian faith and values.

Limitations

Backing the Future is a grants program specifically for individuals and groups of individuals. VFFF provides grants to organisations by invitation only.
