Purpose

Funding to support projects that offer clear community benefit, contributing to social outcomes, community welfare, environmental, health, education, or cultural areas

Overview

These projects will also increase awareness of the Community Bank Daylesford District brand and/or products and services, and so increase the CBDD customer/business base.

Projects may demonstrate one or more outcomes in:

  • Strengthening of the local community
  • Community wellbeing or resilience
  • Learning, skills and development
  • Participation of people in local arts, culture or heritage events
  • Health or safety benefits for local people
  • Support of local emergency services including disaster recovery
  • Animal or environmental welfare
  • Community facilities or infrastructure
  • Financial value

Limitations

You must: be an incorporated community or not-for-profit organisation have a project partner if you are not an incorporated organisation. A project partner is an incorporated community or not-for profit organisation that is willing to enter into the funding agreement on your behalf and help you to deliver the project have a valid Australian bank account DDCDL and CBDD staff and their families, and directors and their families, are eligible to apply on behalf of community organisations of which they are members. Where a staff member or a director is a participant on a board or committee of an organisation seeking funding, this person will abstain from decision-making regarding the application.
