Purpose
This program supports Tasmanian artists to undertake residencies at locations across Tasmania. Each residency is four weeks in length.
Overview
Residency sites have accommodation costs that need to be covered with grant funds.
The remaining grant funds may be used for:
- artist fees
- travel
- living expenses
- materials and supplies
Equipment cannot be covered by grant funds.
If your application is successful, you will need to submit an acquittal report showing how the grant funds were spent.

Limitations
Eligibility
As the applicant, you must be:
- an individual artist who has lived in Tasmania for six of the last 12 months
Some sites can accommodate two artists at once. If you are applying as a collaboration, both artists must have lived in Tasmania for six of the last 12 months.
