Purpose
To support groups with funds for projects and sponsorship of clubs and events which clearly show a community benefit to the Leopold community.
Overview
Community Bank Leopold holds two application rounds for not-for-profit community groups and sporting clubs to apply for community investment.
To date, Community Bank Leopold has shared over $2 million of our profits with 81 groups within the Leopold and surrounding areas. These groups fall within the categories of health and wellbeing, educational, environmental, sporting and recreation, emergency services, arts and culture and community facilities and infrastructure.
Limitations
Eligibility
- A representative from your club/organisation must attend the Community Investment information session to apply in the corresponding round and if successful attend our AGM
- Contributions should enhance and promote infrastructure, services and development within the community
- Be non-political
- Be allocated to clubs/organisations who are Community Bank Leopold customers, or are willing to move their banking business to Community Bank Leopold
- Applicants should be incorporated, either as associations or companies and be able to demonstrate an appropriate level of fiscal responsibility
- Where the project involves the purchase of a specific items of equipment or erection of a specific facility, the applicant must provide means of attaching the Enterprise’s signage acknowledging the contribution of the Bank
- The applicant must be prepared to work with Community Bank Leopold to promote our business
