Limitations

Who can apply

Any LG who has a current OBRM endorsed BRM Plan is eligible to apply for a MAF grant. Note: Council approval of the BRM Plan is not an eligibility requirement. That is a decision for the LG based on their internal policy and process.

The application form asks for the date the BRM Plan was approved by Council. However, it also states that it is not an eligibility requirement and is for statistical use only.

When a round opens, an email advising the round details and associated documents will be sent to the eligible LGs – addressed to the attention of the CEO. A copy will also be sent to each of the regional DFES BRMOs, BRMCs and BRPCs
