Purpose

Brighter Futures is Arrow Energy's community investment program and supports the sustainable development of communities in their operational footprint.

Overview

Our Brighter Futures grants program provides community organisations, educational facilities, not-forprofit organisations, clubs, associations, and charities with the opportunity to apply for grants of up to $5,000.

The following areas have been identified as being important to the community:

  • Promote health, safety and wellbeing; supporting healthier and safer communities, including welfare and wellbeing services.
  • Encourage active communities; boosting participation in community sporting and recreational activities with positive community benefits.
  • Support community connection; supporting community connection and promoting a vibrant social environment through events and activities.
  • Foster learning and educational opportunities; increasing access to educational and learning opportunities, including early learning.
  • Care for our environment; protecting our natural environment to help create a more sustainable future.
  • Partner with First Nations; supporting activities and projects delivered by First Nations Traditional Owner Groups with whom Arrow has a formal agreement.

Arrow will consider supporting:

  • Events, initiatives, projects that are delivered within Arrow's Surat Gas Project footprint, including the Dalby, Miles, and Chinchilla regions.
  • Applications which demonstrate how the activity will benefit the community within Arrow's Surat Gas Project footprint.
  • Applications that support one or more of the priority areas:
    • Wellbeing, health, and safety
    • Sport and recreation
    • Community events and activities
    • Skills and education
    • Environment
    • First Nations
  • Initiatives that:
    • Build skills and capacity in the local communities.
    • Bring communities together and support local businesses.
    • Deliver ongoing benefits to communities after the initiative is complete.
  • Activities that will occur in the future.
