Purpose
Non-monetary funding is in-kind contributions available for community and not-for-profit incorporated groups looking for a contribution towards hire fees of council owned facilities (meeting/recreation spaces) and use of equipment.
Overview
This grant can be used for one-off events, or as temporary support for groups facing economic sustainability issues. In this instance work with a City Officer on organisational financial sustainability will be required, as this grant is not intended to be a substitute for financial viability.
Applicants can re-apply for annual events, however, the funds that may be granted will be reduced each year, for up to three years.

Eligibility
The following eligibility criteria apply to the Non-monetary stream:
- Incorporated not-for-profit organisations based in or providing a service within the City of Melville are eligible to apply.
- Eligible unincorporated groups include neighbourhood groups or local community groups. Unincorporated groups must:
- be able to demonstrate an on-going program of activity which seeks to engage the City’s residents and ratepayers
- be unpolitical in nature
- demonstrate that there is support for the project from the committee - this can be done by attaching meeting minutes/notes, or a group email to your application.
