The Screen Queensland Attachment program facilitates paid, project-based attachments that provide essential on-the-job experience on Screen Queensland-supported films, series and games.

Through Screen Queensland’s Production Attraction Strategy and Screen Finance Fund, early career screen practitioners are supported to undertake a paid placement to gain valuable hands-on experience alongside experienced practitioners on eligible productions for approximately 5 to 12 weeks.

Prospective attachments can apply to the Screen Queensland Attachment Talent Pool with applications carefully reviewed and considered for upcoming attachment opportunities. Short-listed applicants will be contacted directly by Screen Queensland.

The Attachment Talent Pool is open for applications year-round, with opportunities dependent on the number of eligible productions filming in the state at any one time.

Applications to this program are for inclusion in Screen Queensland’s Talent Pool.

Applicants must:

• be a Queensland resident (view our Terms of Trade for eligibility requirements)
• have satisfied one or more of these requirements:
• have graduated from a relevant tertiary, TAFE or Vocational Education course
• have production credits on at least 30 minutes of screen content, or 
• have transferable skills/significant related experience in other parallel industries that qualify the applicant for the specific role (such as electrician, carpenter, hair and makeup). 

You are not eligible to apply if:

• you are enrolled full-time in a film, television or interactive digital media course at a film school or other tertiary educational institution (applications from part-time students will be assessed on a case-by-case basis)
• you have already been an attachment in the past 12 months.
